Third Space: where faith meets real life for people in their 20s and 30s”Third Space *
Sociologists often talk about three kinds of spaces in our lives: first space is home, second space is work or school, and third space is the gathering place beyond those—cafés, pubs, parks, community groups—where people find belonging, connection, and meaning. These “third spaces” are vital for building relationships and shaping who we are.
At Christ Church, we believe faith needs that kind of space too. That’s the heart of Third Space, our twice-monthly gathering for people in their 20s and 30s. On Thursday evenings (twice a month), we come together for conversation about life, faith, doubts, questions, and hopes. It’s a place where you can bring your whole self—the parts that are sure, the parts that are skeptical, and everything in between.
Third Space isn’t a class or a lecture; it’s a community. It’s a chance to share stories, build friendships, and explore how following Jesus can shape our everyday lives. Think of it as a spiritual “third space”—a spot between home and work where faith and life intersect, where connection grows, and where community is found.
