Welcome to Christ Church

Come As You Are

In Holy Week, church is a family, telling its stories. It is the story we tell every year in order to remember Jesus’ life, his sacrifice for us, His call to sacrificial love, foot washing, service and forgiveness. We are called to remember and to listen.  It is a story that isn’t a fairy tale, or a mere tribute or perfunctory obligation … but it is a story that is so demanding that the church is called to stop what it is doing and listen.  — Will Willimon

We hope you can join us for our 11th Annual Easter Egg Hunt. This is a free community event where all are welcome to join us for games, crafts and a giant egg hunt. Bring your baskets and hope on over!

Who we are

Here at Christ Church we are a community of ordinary people who want to follow Jesus in our everyday lives. We are families with toddlers, tweens, and teenagers. We are single students and professionals in early, mid and late careers. Some of us are retired and some of us are almost there! We are binary and non-binary, queer and straight. Some of us are partnered or married and many of us are single. We are all, in our own ways, seeking to grow in our faith, serve our community and follow Jesus each and everyday. We are committed to ensuring full and inclusive participation for all in our community and are dedicated to removing barriers that have been experienced by sexual and gender minorities, racialized persons, visible minorities and Indigenous people.

We acknowledge that the land on which we gather in Treaty Six Territory is the traditional gathering place for many Indigenous people. We honour and respect this history, languages, ceremonies and culture of the First Nations, Metis, and Inuit who call this territory home.
