Our Story

Christ Church Anglican Parish was established in 1909 in Edmonton, AB. Our current building was erected in 1920 and has housed a vibrant and growing community ever since.

In order for churches such as ours to continue to grow, we invite seekers to join us on a journey of faith. It is important to us how visitors and those within our community view our church, and creating a welcoming and friendly space for those who wish to join us is important to all of us at Christ Church.

We understand that in order for adult seekers to consider being a part of our parish there are certain touchstones that they need to experience including:

  • Authenticity in the church and its leadership

  • Thoughtful follow-up

  • A good theological ‘fit’

  • Excellence in worship

  • Programming that meets their needs

  • The possibility of significant friendships

  • Opportunity for a deeper spirituality

Here at Christ Church, the clergy, staff, and congregation all share a commitment to addressing these needs; ensuring that we are living fully connected with God and allowing new community members to worship alongside us in the spirit of humility and compassion.

We’d love for you join us this Sunday.
